Choose Your Own Adventure Book Club (5th-9th grade)

DESCRIPTION: Wizards, witches, goblins, and trolls are some of the creatures we will battle as we make our way through a medieval fighting fantasy book together! Join Mrs. Uhtof in an exciting Choose Your Own Adventure book club where she will read an exciting book and students will get to choose what our hero does in the story! Students will take turns rolling dice to battle the many beasts and obstacles along the way! This class is excellent for students who don't like math or reading as well as those who have already found magic through story-telling!
Just bring a pencil, water, and a snack for yourself!

Math Homework Help (5th-Algebra I)

DESCRIPTION: Come and do your homework with a credentialed math teacher who is there to help you when you get stuck! Students must bring homework to work on, textbook, paper/notebook, and a pencil. This class is intended for independent students
who just need a little help.
One on one tutoring for struggling students will be offered very soon!

Basic Fractions (5th-8th)

DESCRIPTION: Fractions have a bad reputation, so Mrs. Uhtof would like to clear up the confusion! Through direct instruction, note-taking, individual whiteboards, and maybe a little candy :), let's make fractions something that is less scary and even fun! Students will have a better understanding of what fractions are, when we use them,
and how to add, subtract, and multiply them.
Students just need to bring a pencil and an open mind!
